How to get Turkey Visa

 A visa-free regime has been established between Russia and Turkey. Citizens of the Russian Federation can enter the territory of Turkey without a visa for a period of stay up to 60 days. If you want to travel to Turkey using the visa-free regime and stay there for more than 60 days, once a year you are given the opportunity to obtain a residence permit for a period of 3 months for tourist purposes. To obtain a residence permit for a maximum period of 3 months, it is necessary to contact the Foreigners' Affairs Department of the Security Directorate at the place of stay within 60 days of arrival in Turkey ( information from the Turkish Embassy ).

Original passport and copy (page with photo and stamp with the last entry into the country, page with expiration date).

A document confirming the availability of funds in the amount of $ 500 for each month and a certificate and sale-purchase of currency. (for each person)

A document confirming the address of residence (in case of residence with a Turkish citizen, the original and a copy of his identity card, a letter of guarantee from him, for those married to Turkish citizens - a letter of guarantee from both spouses. Applications from citizens with an expired visa will not be accepted.

A tourist visa is issued once per calendar year.

If the person is married and / or has children:

Marriage certificate, birth certificates of children, their translation into Turkish, notarized in Turkey.

If at the time of contacting one of the parents is absent, the parent who is abroad (father or mother) must give permission containing the following words: "I, (surname, name), authorize (surname, first name) to live in Turkey with my mother / father (surname , name) ", the notarized Turkish translation of this document into Turkish.

In case the parents are divorced - divorce certificate, as well as notarized in Turkey, translation into Turkish.

Attention! If the tourist leaves the country within 15 days after the expiration of the visa, he will have to pay a fine. If the stay in the country is exceeded by more than 15 days, then tourists will have to pay a fine, and a ban on entering the country for one month will be imposed. If the person does not pay the fine in both cases, a ban on entering the country is imposed for five years.


Citizens of the Russian Federation wishing to travel to Turkey for more than 60 days can obtain a visa in advance at the Turkish consulate.
